It gives me pleasure to welcome you to this new edition of the official Forest Row Guide, published in the autumn of 2002. This guide is the latest in a series stretching back over many years and the current edition has been revised and updated, complete with colour photographs within it for the first time. I would like to pay tribute to the hard work done by members and staff of the Parish Council in producing the information contained in the guide as well as our publishers who have gathered a good selection of advertisements from many providers of local services. Forest Row is a special village and parish and I hope you, the reader, will agree that this is so. I commend this guide to you. Graham Holmam
