It gives me pleasure to be able to introduce this guide to our town.
Witham is a welcoming town not only for existing and new residents but for visitors alike. There is major change within the town, which will see its largest influx of new homes and families since the 1960s. You will see from the content of the guide that there are many organisations and voluntary groups that do fantastic work within our town - they are our unsung heroes.

I was very proud and honoured to be elected as Town Mayor for the second time and during my term of office hope to meet as many people as possible.
The focus of the Town Council at the moment is our beautiful River Walk and I am taking personal involvement in its enhancement to ensure that as many people as possible enjoy this unique community asset.
