Witham's Markets

Saturday Market
For the past thirty years the Saturday Market has been held in the small car park adjacent to Collingwood Road. This is a traditional market selling a wide range of goods and produce - some of the traders have been there since the beginning!
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday from 9.00am to 3.00pm adjacent to the Newland Precinct. For further information please contact Braintree District Council - Street Market Officer on 01376 552525.

Witham Farmers’ Market
Witham was one of the first towns to operate a Farmers’ market. Situated in the Grove Centre and open on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday each month, the market offers a wide range of produce from cheeses, meats and vegetables, to plants, cakes, eggs and preserves.
For further information and details of the Special Christmas market, contact the Grove Centre Manager on 01376 519440.

French Market
2002 saw a new venture in the Town - a French Market! This now appears to be an annual event as the French have come back again in 2003 and 2004 around October/November.
The French Christmas market is a Chamber of Commerce Initiative - visit www.withamchamber.com for further information.
