Oasis Community and Children's Centre

The Centre is situated in St Michaels Avenue at the north end of Tinkers Drove. It provides a diversity of training, meeting rooms and seminar facilities ranging from one-to-one sessions for literacy and numeracy to fully supported community events. It is owned and run by Wisbech Community Development Trust, which is made up of representatives from the community as well as partner organisations such as the County Council and Fenland Links.

A Centre on this site has served the community for over thirty years. The Oasis prides itself on being run by local people who understand the needs of their community. Their vision is to provide support and activities that encompass all age groups, abilities, interests and needs of local people. Contact the team on 01945 461526 or email chris@theoasiscentre.co.uk
Community House
Community House is in Southwell Rd, Wisbech, and has been open for 6 years. It is managed by the Fenland Links team and owned by Roddons Housing Association.

The House is open 8.30am to 2.30pm, when local residents can access the house for advice and information, receive help with completing forms, report housing issues and repairs, or simply call in for a coffee and a chat.

There is a computer suite upstairs that can be used free of charge and training is also provided at various times.

The community garden is open during school holidays, when family activities are held and also children’s activities. There are homework clubs, which are held on Mondays and Thursday during term time only.
