A Thriving Town of the 21st Century
UCKFIELD, one of the busiest towns in East Sussex is able to offer
a wide variety of accommodation for all types of businesses from
a small one or two room suite of offices to an important headquarters
building, from a small lock up workshop to a major factory complex.
The Bellbrook Business Park has been extended to accommodate the
many new businesses moving into the area and there is an enormous
range of diverse businesses represented in the locality increasing
employment opportunities for the local residents. To facilitate
a close relationship with other parts of the town’s community,
the Bellbrook Business Forum was born which, in conjunction with
the Regeneration Partnership, Uckfield Chamber of Commerce and the
Uckfield Town Council, ensures that the businesses in Bellbrook
are able to voice their opinions and thus fully participate in the
town’s economic development. Further information on the Business
Forum can be obtained from forum sponsors at LizBishop@armida.co.uk
The Ridgewood Industrial Estate, located on the South East side
of the town, has also developed into a highly successful trading
estate, with large units and a spacious warehouse distribution unit.
The units towards the rear are useful for smaller businesses.
In addition to the office accommodation already available at Horsted
Square and to meet the growing demand for office space, new developments
have been undertaken at Falmer Court to the North of the town, the
Office Village located in the centre of town (access via River Way)
and the newest addition Kingfisher Court located on the Bellbrook
Business Park.
