Tiverton has easy access from the M5 at junction 27. Having left
the motorway it is an easy drive along the North Devon Link road
to the Tiverton turning.
Tiverton Parkway Station, some 7 miles from Tiverton, is served
by trains from London, the Midlands and the North of England, as
well as services to Exeter and the West of England.
Tiverton is the ideal centre for exploring Exmoor made famous by
the creator of Lorna Doone. Tiverton’s Old Blundell’s
School is mentioned by the writer R. D. Blackmore who attended the
school. There is something for everyone in that area.
