Thatcham’s annual Festival of Arts and Leisure continues to grow in content and stature, showcasing the depth and breadth of the residents’ talents and skills. There are activities for all ages and almost every type of interest and more than 7,000 people were involved in the Festival in 2006.

Organised and co-ordinated by Thatcham Town Council, the aims of the event are to promote local organisations and clubs which are involved in arts and leisure, to stimulate community involvement, to raise the profile of the town and to promote the town’s community venues.
