The
first Tidy Thame Day, in March 2011, was a great success.
Introduced into the town’s annual calendar by Cllr Adam Buckland,
the Council was delighted by the positive response. And residents
weren’t just litter picking - they were repairing benches,
removing weeds from gutters, trimming hedges, hosing down bus stops
- you name it!
At the end of the day, there was a tea and cakes get-together at
the Scout Hut, where stories were shared and a job well done was
celebrated.
The next Tidy Thame Day is on Sunday 25 March 2012!
