Soem of Thame's open spaces

South Pole

State-of-the-art play area at Southern Road Recreation Ground gets rave reviews from mums: “It’s a fabulous park in a beautiful setting and one of the few that has equipment to suit all ages.” “Fantastic play area for our childrenChildren Play Area. It always looks so clean and colourful and plenty of seats for us mums to sit and chat while the children play. We feel very lucky to have such a community facility right on our doorstep!”

Elms Park

It was in 1948 that Leonard Purser of The Elms, Thame, donated the parcel of land known as The Elms Field, “… as a free gift of the said property to the townsfolk of Thame.” Elms Park will be the venue for the 2012 ‘Music in the Park’ event - Sunday 13th May 2012.

Skate Park

Adrenalin junkies from miles around come to Thame Skate Park, which has a great reputation among skateboarders, in-line skaters and BMXers.
