The Information Centre, situated at the junction of
St Mary’s Road and London Road, in the heart of
Swanley, is very much at the hub of the town.
The building houses a Library, Sevenoaks District
Council Contact Centre, the Volunteer Bureau, Adult
Education, Learn Direct and the Library Café.
It also has excellent conference and meeting rooms for
commercial and community use.
Since it opened in 1999, the Information Centre has
won two major tourism awards (and constantly strives
to improve and increase its range of services). The
centre provides an excellent source of information for
both residents and visitors to the area, including local,
London and national events, transport and UK holiday
information. The friendly staff will make accommodation
reservations, book coach tours, National Express tickets,
theatre tokens and Orchard Theatre bookings. The Information
Centre also stocks a wide range of maps, books and postcards
as well as providing a fax and photocopying service.
Also available is a huge range of brochures giving details
of attractions, events and holiday information.
