The historic market town with a population of approximately 27,000
is in the south west corner of Cambridgeshire straddling the river
Great Ouse. Transport links are excellent at the junction of the
A1 and the A428 roads. Rail services to London (60 miles) and Peterborough
(27 miles) are also frequent.
By Road
St. Neots has excellent links making it readily accessible from
all parts of the UK. The fast A1 links St. Neots to London (60 miles)
in the South and Peterborough (27 miles) and the North of England
and Scotland. The A428 links Cambridge just 12 miles away and joins
the A14 for visitors from East Anglia as well as bringing the Midlands
and many other parts of the country within a two to three hour drive.
St. Neots is the ideal place to break your journey for an hour or
two and relax, whilst enjoying the many interesting facets that
the town has to offer. Due to its ideal location St. Neots makes
an ideal base for touring throughout East Anglia and the fens.
Car parking is plentiful – the Riverside and Cambridge Street
car parks are free of charge. Coaches may drop off and pick up on
the Market Square and designated parking is available on Cambridge
Street.
The caravan site, on the banks of the river, is a ten minute walk
from town and is a popular venue for campers and caravanners alike.
By Rail
West Anglia Great Northern train services connect with London and
Peterborough. From the latter mainline services are available to

By Coach
National Express operates daily services to various parts of the
country. Local operators offer services in the surrounding area
and there is an half hourly service from Cambridge, Bedford, Milton

By River
The River Great Ouse is popular with boaters and is navigable from
Bedford to the Wash. The annual regatta (July) and the Carnival
(last week in August) draw visitors by boat from far and wide.

There is a wide variety of accommodation available in St Neots to
suit all needs, from guest houses and bed and breakfast to hotels
