Saffron Screen Saffron Walden

Saffron Screen, your not-for-profit independent cinema, shows a wide range of films to entertain and educate everyone in Saffron Walden and the surrounding area. Open every Saffron ScreenFriday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, we screen blockbusters, foreign language, art house, kids, classic and locally produced films. Additional weekday screenings are scheduled during school holidays. Film-related events are scheduled regularly and birthday party groups are welcome. This community cinema, which opened in 2006, offers a comfortable 200 seat auditorium, full size screen, Dolby digital surround sound, refreshments and free parking. The cinema is accessible to customers with limited mobility, including wheelchair users, and an induction loop is available for the hearing impaired. Saffron Screen is run by 18 part-time staff and 106 volunteers.
