Town Twinning

Barentin

Statue of Liberty, BarentinIn 1992, after much searching, the Town found and twinned with Barentin in Normandy which is close to the beautiful city of Rouen. Every two years Barentin hosts a visit for citizens from Petersfield. The Twinning Association, whose members are by no means all French speaking, enjoys a full social life making friends with their Barentin hosts, visiting places of interest in Normandy, and providing reciprocal hospitality.

Warendorf

The town is also twinned with Warendorf in north Germany. Warendorf is a delightful town, similar in many ways to Petersfield and many close ties have been forged with schools and organisations as well as personal friendships. Warendorf is situated to the east of Munster.
