Brocks Hill Country Park and Environment Centre is situated off Wigston Road behind Parklands Leisure Centre. There are 67 acres of Country Park to explore with newly planted woodland and wildflower areas and an under 5’s play area. The Environment Centre itself is a showcase of self-sufficiency, with solar air and water heating, electricity created from photovoltaic panels and a rainwater harvesting system. The Centre is not connected to the gas supply, nor to the main sewerage system. A wind turbine has been installed in the Country Park which will increase the amount of electricity the Centre generates.

The Environment Centre is open to the public daily but please telephone for Christmas and New Year arrangements. Entry to the Centre is free. There is a classroom for use by school groups or conferences and The Food Chain Café is open daily.
