Tattersalls Park Paddocks is the headquarters of the world’s
most famous bloodstock auctioneers.
Founded by Richard Tattersall in the 18th Century, in London at
Hyde Park Corner, business was mainly concerned with the sale of
hounds and hunters. The famous arch, which was moved from Knightsbridge
dominates the car park.
Some of the greatest thoroughbreds in racing have been sold at Tattersalls.
Sales are held throughout the year starting in February. But you
do not have to be a buyer to attend. Visitors can sit in the magnificent
sale ring and watch the proceedings unfold.
