Sport and Leisure

If it is sport and leisure opportunities that you’re after, then Newmarket offers a wide Newmarket Carnival 2010variety of formal and informal activities for people of all ages.
.
For those people wishing to get out in the open air, the very location of the town among rolling countryside lends itself to rambling, running, horse riding and cycling. Participants in any of these activates can choose to take part informally or as part of a club. In addition there is a diverse array of clubs including rugby, triathlon, swimming, real tennis, hockey, gymnastics and volleyball.

Newmarket is well served with facilities including a leisure centre, swimming pool and private fitness facilities in a number of schools, whose facilities are open to community use.
