Since 1990 the Committee of Newmarket
in Bloom have worked very hard to make our Town attractive for our
residents and visitors.
. 
This year the Hanging Baskets were rated by the judges from Anglia
in Bloom as the equal of any in the Eastern Region, and helped the
Town to win its second Silver Award in this year's Anglia in Bloom
Competition.
The annual Garden Competition has nine Categories and is very keenly
contested each year. Competition was fierce, with magnificent garden
displays entered by Hotels, Business’s, Public Houses and
Private Gardens.
All these help to make Newmarket an attractive and lovely place
to live in and visit.
