Between the swimming pool and the town centre is March Library
and learning centre. Opened in the year 2000 it has the benefit
of an attractive riverside location. It was extended in 2004 to
include the Isle College of Learning shop. Free informal sessions
are held weekly, for babies and toddlers, to encourage language
development.
Ask staff for details.
A special room is available for genealogists. The microfilm/fiche
reader printer is available on each Tuesday between 10am and 5pm
and a member of the Cambridgeshire Family History Society is there
to offer help and support to anyone tracing their family history.
The library offers free Internet access for genealogical research.
The Cambridgeshire Times from 1872 to the present day and the March
Advertiser from 1903-1915 are available on microfilm.
