Education in March

March is endowed with a number of excellent schools.
Burrowmoor Primary School, close to the town centre, takes both infants and juniors; contact 01354 652330.

Cavalry Primary also takes children to the age of eleven and is situated on the southeastern side of the town; contact 01354 652814.
Town Hall
Maple Grove Infants, on the northwestern side of the town was built in 1989; contact 01354 653337.

Westwood Junior School is also in Maple Grove. The school was built in 1951 to accommodate a steadily growing population; contact 01354 653033.

Seniors are educated at the Neale-Wade Community College, which has a separate Sixth Form Centre. This college specialises in Mathematics and computing; contact 01354 653430.

All Saints Primary School, built in the 1990s in County Road, is a joint Church of England and Catholic School; contact 01354 659000.

The Community Education Centre in Station Road caters for adult needs. The Anglian Players and the March Operatic Society both meet at the centre on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7.30 - 10.00pm.

Daytime and evening adult education classes take place with a wide selection of courses. Dog training is weekly on a Wednesday from 6-10 pm and blood donors have a monthly session. The centre has facilities for the disabled and ample parking places. Rooms and a computer suite as well as a conference room are available for hire with refreshments if required; contact Christine Sidaway on 01354 653148.

Other youth club activities take place at Young People March, which can be found in City Road.
