By Road Huntingdon has excellent road links, making it one of the most accessible market towns in the country. The dual carriageway A14 links Huntingdon with the A1 to the North and London in the South, much of it to motorway standard. The A14 also links the area with Cambridge, Suffolk, Norfolk and offers easy access to the ports of East Anglia such as Harwich and Felixstowe. It provides an alternative route to London, the South East and the South Coast via the M11 and M25, and it also links to the Midlands and the West.

By Rail Huntingdon’s railway station is situated on Brampton Road. The location of Huntingdon on the main rail route from London to Edinburgh has led to rapid residential growth. The First Capital Connect service connects Huntingdon and Kings Cross every 30 minutes approximately and is less than an hour’s commute to London. Trains to Peterborough run approximately every half hour from where the Great North Eastern Railway service departs for the North and Scotland.
