Henfield Parish Council is delighted to have been directly involved
in the production of this guide. I am sure that it will be of great
use to everyone, whilst at the same time promoting the village.
For residents, Henfield is a very special place, surrounded by open
countryside which can be reached easily, whether it is the brooklands
of the River Adur to the west, or the extensive commons to the south
and east. It is a close-knit village with a warm and friendly atmosphere
and a strong community spirit. I welcome those of you who are coming
to live amongst us, or perhaps only spending a short while in our
village. I hope that this guide will help you settle in or make
your visit more rewarding.
