Location and Communications

Godalming is situated in Surrey midway between London and Portsmouth. The town is surrounded by beautiful countryside and also enjoys the benefit of good communications. The town has two railway stations, which provide frequent and fast services to London and Portsmouth, both 45 minutes away.

Godalming is also two miles from a junction on the improved A3 road. To the north the M25 (junction 10) is only 14 miles away. To the south Portsmouth with ferry connections to Europe and the Isle of Wight can be reached by car within 45 minutes. There is also easy access to the M3 and M4 motorways.

The two major airports of London Heathrow and London Gatwick are both within one hour’s drive of the town.

The town is an excellent centre for both recreational and commercial activities.
