I am very pleased to welcome you to Forest Row. The village, with a population of over 5,000, is a vibrant community with many interesting shops and diverse activities of which we are extremely proud.

I should like to pay tribute to the members and staff of the Parish Council for their hard work. A great deal has been accomplished over the last few years, including the award of Quality Parish status. There is, however, still a great deal to do and we are all working together to improve the life of those living in the village.

This guide highlights the many aspects of village life and I hope you enjoy your visit to our village and to Ashdown Forest.
