Elstree and Borehamwood Citizens Advce Bureau

The CAB provides a free, independent impartial and completely confidential advice and information service on a range of subjects including benefits, consumer rights, debt problems, family and relationship problems, housing, legal, employment and many more.
The CAB is a general advice agency, acting as a one stop advice shop. This means you can discuss your situation and circumstances, however complex, as fully as you wish and in complete confidence.Homes on the Studio Estate where roads are named after film stars and studios

The aim is to help individuals manage problems. Specialist services include Money Advice, Representation at Social Security, Medical and Disability Tribunals, Home visits and Outreach sessions.

The CAB is situated behind Allum Lane Community Centre opposite Elstree Station. Facilities include parking, disabled parking, disabled access and a hearing loop system.

The CAB is open to personal callers from 10-1 each weekday. Appointments can be made on 020 8953 9961 but that is not an advice line. People can also call in without an appointment. Telephone advice is available from 10-4 each weekday on 0870 121 2025. There is a 24 hour electronic information service on the same number giving basic information on a wide range of topics.
