Church StreetEdenbridge has taken a major step forward to act on ideas which residents suggested as part of the Town Appraisal and Economic Health Check.

The removal of heavy through traffic, from the High Street to the western Relief Road, allowed the re-design of the High Street to provide a more user-friendly shopping centre for residents and visitors.

The new Visitor Information Point at Doggett’s Barn is part of a drive to encourage tourism. The aim of the Town Council and community groups is to put Edenbridge firmly on the map, as we are well placed to benefit from increased tourism in the south east due to the Olympic Games in 2012.
