By train: there are main line railway stations at Chippenham, Pewsey and Westbury. Other nearby stations at Trowbridge, Swindon, Bath and Salisbury.

By car: From London/Bristol via the M4 - leave the M4 at Junction 16 and take the A3102 and then A342 to Devizes via Calne. Alternatively, take the A4361 and A361 to Devizes via Avebury.

From the south - follow the M3 to Junction 8 and take the A3030 and A342 via Andover.

From the southwest - pick up the A361, which runs through Devizes.
