Dear
visitor,
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our town of Crowborough.
Crowborough is the largest inland town in East Sussex and because
of its height of 794 feet above sea level it can be seen from many
miles around. The town is situated in the High Weald “Area
of Outstanding Natural Beauty”, a few minutes drive from the
Ashdown Forest, where you can enjoy the quiet of the countryside.
Crowborough has a number of recreation grounds, sporting facilities
and a large camping and caravan park.
During the year there are a number of events including a summer
fair in July, a large firework display in November and a Farmer’s
Market on the fourth Saturday of every month. I am sure that you
will find this guide useful and informative, and trust you enjoy
the town of Crowborough, planning to return again soon if you are
visiting.

Town Mayor
