The Tourist Information Centre (TIC) is located in the magnificent
15th Century Yelde Hall and is managed by Chippenham Town Council.
It provides an essential service to both the local  community
and visitors to the area and promotes sustainable tourism.
The TIC sells tickets for National Express and local coach “days
away”, offers a FREE local accommodation booking service,
sells tickets for most major events in the area and stocks and a
variety of maps and guides and local bus timetables. Beautifully
crafted glassware, paintings, greetings cards and jewellery are
available as are candles, postcards and souvenirs, The TIC also
stocks a variety of tasty local food produce such as honey, biscuits,
preserves and relish.
As the festive season approaches the TIC stocks the largest selection
of charity Christmas Cards for Good Causes in the town, together
with a variety of Christmas gifts.
