Conference & Banqueting Facilities
Whether you are planning your entire Wedding Day a family party
or a Business Conference the Town Hall with its unrivalled banqueting
and conference facilities is the perfect setting for your event.
The impressive Town Hall was built in 1834 by Sir Joseph Neeld,
then Member of Parliament for Chippenham. The Town Hall is centrally
situated in the heart of this Historic Riverside Market Town and
replaced the 15th Century Yelde Hall, which still stands in the
Market Place.
Town Hall The magnificent, air-conditioned Town Hall with its ornate
plasterwork and high ceiling is the venue for your Civil Wedding
Ceremony, Wedding Reception, Christening Party, Business Conference
or Special Celebration. Catering and bar facilities are adjacent
to the hall, which can seat up to 140 guests for a formal meal or
200 for a conference. The large windows allow plenty of natural
light, whilst the beautiful chandeliers add a touch of elegance.
Neeld Hall & Theatre Facilities The historic Neeld Hall boasts
a large auditorium, stage with classical theatre facade and changing
facilities. Situated at the rear of the Town Hall, the Neeld Hall
also benefits from a prime Town Centre location. The Neeld Hall
can seat 300 in a theatre style layout or 200 for a formal meal,
and offers the perfect setting for shows, performances and larger
celebrations.
Catering and Bar Facilities Catering and bar facilities can be provided
for all functions held in both the Town and Neeld Halls by arrangement.
Syndicate Rooms Situated on the second floor of the Town Hall, the
light, airy and comfortably furnished syndicate rooms provide an
ideal meeting/training room, seating up to 20 people. There is a
large white board, clip board TV and Video, together with ample
power points for presentation equipment.
All rooms are available for hire by commercial or non-commercial
clients.
