services and information. Message from the President
Chippenham Chamber of Commerce is pleased to show its continuing
support to the Town Council and local community, particularly in
these times of change, and it is important that all  groups
work together to help achieve the best for Chippenham, now and in
the future. There are many challenges that the town and surrounding
area face at this time, such as the move to unitary status in Wiltshire,
the Chippenham Vision programme, the new North Wilts Economic Partnership
Area Board structure, and the development of the new Community Plan
through the Chippenham and Villages Community Partnership, ChAP.
The business community is a very important part of the town and
surrounding area, and our role continues to support and represent
local business to the benefit of Chippenham. The town is home to
a diverse range of business from sole traders and SMEs to major
international organisations. Our excellent position in relation
to major road and rail links, our skilled workforce, our high-ranking
educational establishments and our beautiful rural environment all
contribute to make Chippenham a location of choice for those seeking
an industrious base and high quality of life.
