Shop Local!
Burgess Hill’s town centre offers all the convenience of excellent shopping facilities right on your doorstep.
With plentiful parking close to the shops and easy access by train or bus, shoppers are attracted to Burgess Hill from far and near.

You’ll find major high street names, including Waitrose in the Market Place Shopping Centre (indoor), Martlets Shopping Centre (outdoor), the central thoroughfare of Church Road and the pedestrianised Church Walk, together with quirky independent shops nestled amongst them.

Themed markets such as ‘French’ and ‘Italian’ pay Burgess Hill a visit at certain times during the year. An indoor market runs everyday in the Market Place Shopping Centre and also an outdoor market every Wednesday and Saturday in the Martlets Shopping Centre.

Take a breather from the shopping by having a relaxing coffee break, a quick bite to eat or a more relaxing lunch. And if you feel in need of a bit of pampering there is always one of the beauty salons!

For an up-to-the-minute listing of the shops in the town centre, visit our website www.burgesshill.gov.uk.
