Burgess Hill Town Council’s Help Point is run by a friendly, dedicated team who are always happy to help. Services at the Help Point are second to none including a fully networked Help Point LogoTourist Information Centre and close links with partner organisations such as Mid Sussex District Council, West Sussex County Council, Pension Service, West Sussex Primary Care Trust (NHS), Downland Housing Group and Tourism South East.

Burgess Hill Town Council has a dedicated Mobile Maintenance Team who work hard to look after the town. The Council is responsible for the Burial Ground, five allotment sites and three public open spaces; Batchelors Farm, Folders Meadow and West Park Reserve.

The Help Point Team would be glad to hear from you if you have any suggestions for improvements to the town or if you would like to report a problem.

A selection of local bus and railway timetables are available within the Help Point, we can also help with times further afield.

How do I find out about schools in the area?
Admissions for Burgess Hill are dealt with by the Local Education Office. Contact them on 0845 075 1007 for more details or visit the education pages at www.westsussex.gov.uk.

Can you tell me what events are on locally?
Just take a look in our window for the most up to date events in Burgess Hill or on one of our many noticeboards around the town. Alternatively a comprehensive list is available on our website at www.burgesshill.gov.uk.

I am new to the area and need to register with a doctor and a dentist. How can I find them?
The Help Point will be able to give you all the latest up to date information on health services in the local area. We also produce a Welcome Pack which contains a wealth of information for new residents.

Can I book bed and breakfast accommodation through you?
The Tourist Information Centre holds a comprehensive list of accommodation providers in the area that have all been inspected. Alternatively, you can view these details on our website at www.burgesshill.gov.uk. We also offer a “Book A Bed Ahead” accommodation service for visitors to the town and surrounding area, as well as elsewhere in England.
