This wonderful reserve is situated on the northeast edge of Burgess
Hill. There are a wide variety of habitats throughout the site that
includ ponds, woodlands and wild flower meadows. Walking through
the woodlands you will see improved, unimproved and coppice-managed
woods. These woodland walks open out onto large meadows with a significant

At St John's Park you'll find a well equipped skating area made
up of a street course with an indestructible seat and grind rail.
Adjacent to the skating area
you will find a basketball practice area, which is available throughout
the year. There are 3 tennis courts that are booked through the
Burgess Hill Town Council’s Help Point. Burgess Hill Cricket
Club have the use of the cricket pitch at St John's, however there
are 2 practice nets available which are booked with the Outdoor
Facilities Department on 01444 477379.

Anne of Cleves House is a 15th century timber-framed Wealden hall-house
that formed part of Anne's divorce settlement from Henry VIII in
1541. The house contains wide-ranging collections of Sussex interest,

to reflect an earlier period. A visit to the house can be rounded
off with a stroll around the beautiful garden.
