To all our visitors and prospective residents, we hope that you
will find Bridport a pleasant and friendly town. Those of us who
live in Bridport and West Bay are fortunate to reside in this  attractive
market town, which is also recognised as a Gateway Town to the Jurassic
Coast, a World Heritage Site. Bridport is also acknowledged as a
Beacon Town for the quality and diversity of locally grown and produced
food and drink.
There are many organisations and voluntary groups operating in Bridport
and West Bay and the Town Council has assembled this local information,
which we trust will provide a useful reference for both residents
and visitors alike. If you cannot find what you are looking for,
please contact the Town Council (Contacts page 24 of this guide).
The town has a wide variety of retail and other services. Please
support the many local businesses who have advertised in the Town
Guide. We encourage residents to keep the Town Guide by your telephone,
to look to Bridport first for the services that you may require
and to use this Guide to help you find local information and support.
