Brackley Area Volunteer Car Service. This service
is managed by the South Northants Volunteer Bureau. We recruit volunteer
drivers who, using their own cars, will to take people to essential,
usually medical related, appointments. Anyone can use the service
if they live in Brackley or the surrounding villages and there is
no reasonable alternative way for them to travel.
The volunteer drivers are reimbursed their petrol costs by the passenger,
at the time of the journey, and there is a small joining and registration
fee to help with the administration of the scheme. For further information
contact the Volunteer Centre in Brackley on a Tuesday, Wednesday
