Brackley R.U.F.C.
Brackley R.U.F.C. was formed in 1976 and started playing games at
Magdalen retiring to the Red Lion afterward for post match refreshments.
They progressed from there to their own premises off Pavillons Way,
where they remained for 16 years. In September 1999 they moved to
excellent new premises situated on Nightingale Way, off Humphries
Drive. There are two pitches, lit training area and a two storey
clubhouse.
Brackley currently play in East Midlands Division One having been
promoted at the end of the 1999-2000 season. There are currently
three adult sides and youths from under 7’s upwards. Training
for seniors is on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. and
for juniors on Sunday mornings from 10 a.m.

Leisure facilities in Brackley
South Northamptonshire Council offers a range of leisure facilities
in Brackley; here is a brief summary of the exciting opportunities
offered in the town.
Brackley Swimming Pool - Contact (01280) 704906
A traditional 25 metre 5 lane swimming pool located just off Manor
Road. It has a health suite including solarium, sauna and steam.
There is also fitness room with a mix of resistance and cardio vascular
machines to complement the swimming pool. It also has large male
and female changing facilities.
The pool is used extensively by local schools during the day but
early mornings, lunch times, after 4.00 pm on weekdays and weekends
are available for public swimming. Contact the above for further

Located in the developing area of the town off Springfield’s
Way the facilities include:
• Four-badminton-court Sports hall suitable for badminton,
basketball, netball, table tennis, gymnastics, aerobics, martial
arts and indoor football. It also caters for thriving Tiny Tumblers
sessions, you will need to book early for these.
• Creche facility to ease access to activities for mums and
dads
• Four football pitches and associated changing rooms
• Fitness suite, with 60 pieces of equipment
• Health suite with sauna/steam and sunbeds
• Air conditioned aerobics/dance studio and can be used for
private functions
• Ample free car parking
