South Northamptonshire Council’s office location in Brackley
is at 55 Burgess Square (just off the main Market Square). Our opening
hours are 10.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m. Monday to  Friday.
We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and all Bank Holidays.
Residents and businesses alike can call in to the Burgess Square
office to do all of the following:
• book bulky waste collections
• raise queries about refuse and recycling collection, Council
Tax, Non Domestic Rates - including setting up a direct debit or
making a payment by credit or debit card or cheque
• arrange an appointment for our pest control service
• make arrangements to meet Benefits Staff for a more detailed
discussion.
• apply for a national bus pass
• make general enquiries about all council services
Please note that for queries about planning applications which involve
looking at specific plans, for the time being people will still
need to visit our Towcester office.
People new to the district who have not been issued with an allpay
card (which is a card enabling residents and businesses to pay their
council tax/ non-domestic rates by cash) can request one via the
Brackley office or by telephoning 01327 322322. However, please
note that it is not possible to make a cash payment at the Council
offices either in Brackley or Towcester, although we can accept
cheque and card payments in person and over the phone. Also if you
have been sent an invoice, and have a reference number, you can
use our 24 hour Touchtone phone service.
Many of our services can be accessed online by logging onto: www.southnorthants.gov.uk
and clicking onto the pay online and over the phone button on the
right hand side of the screen.
Other services available at our Burgess Square office will include
the provision of general information about places of interest within
the district and more widely across the local area. For any further
