Trade and Commerce

Shopping in Brackley is a pleasant experience given its spacious market place with its tree-lined High Street. Being a small market town within a rural area, Brackley boasts a number of small individual shops and businesses which pride themselves on offering personal service.

There are two large supermarkets as well as specialist greengrocers, butchers, chemists, all providing a wide variety of day-to-day essentials.

In addition, other retail and service outlets provide all necessary requirements, with most needs being catered for within the town. Moreover, there are specialist shops including a bookshop offering antiquarian and second-hand books as well as new, a picture framers and art gallery. The Tourist Office provides information on local attractions and has lists of places to stay in the area as well as offering advice on travel and accommodation in other areas for local people; in addition, it sells gifts including crested china and soap produced at the Bronnley factory which is situated at the north end of the town.

Farmers Market

Brackley therefore provides a good service, in beautiful surroundings and with a friendly welcome, to both the resident and the visitor.
